A VILLAGE SCHOOL

Alost every village has a school. Generally, a village school is situated outside of the village. The atmosphere around the school is peaceful. A village school has no attractive building. But open ground is found in a village school. Generally, a village school is established on the pieces of land donated by villagers. A play-ground is also available in the most of the village schools. It is sunny and airy.

In a village school, both boys and girls read together. Most of the students come from poor families. Their parents are the people of low-income group. So the boys and girls are dirty. They are not well-dressed. They have no required books and stationery.

In the village school, a different routine is maintained. Students have to do some extra curricular works like farming or gardening. They clean the class-rooms and the field. They go to their prayer first and then to their classes. They read their lessons loudly. Sometimes they memorize their lessons in the class. They respect their teachers. Teachers teach all subjects in the school.



The teachers in the village school are respected by students. They are respected by the villagers also. Generally they lead simple life. They wear simple dress. They like discipline. They try to make all students disciplined.

But a village school as some problems. It has no good building. Its building is collapsing. Now teachers are better paid off. But they are not sincere in discharging their duties. They often remain absent from the school. They come to school late and leave it earlier.

The government has taken steps to improve the conditions of the village schools. Mid-day meal has been arranged in schools. Children are given dress, books and other facilities. All possible means are being adopted to improve the condition. It is a good sign.


लगभग हर गांव में एक स्कूल है। आमतौर पर गांव के बाहर गांव का स्कूल होता है। स्कूल के आसपास का माहौल शांतिपूर्ण है। गांव के स्कूल में कोई आकर्षक इमारत नहीं होती है। लेकिन गांव के एक स्कूल में खुला मैदान मिलता है। आम तौर पर ग्रामीणों द्वारा दान की गई भूमि के टुकड़ों पर एक गांव के स्कूल की स्थापना की जाती है। गांव के अधिकांश स्कूलों में खेल का मैदान भी उपलब्ध है। यह धूप और हवादार है।



एक गाँव के स्कूल में लड़के और लड़कियाँ दोनों एक साथ पढ़ते हैं। ज्यादातर छात्र गरीब परिवारों से आते हैं। इनके माता-पिता निम्न आय वर्ग के लोग हैं। तो लड़के और लड़कियां गंदे हैं। वे अच्छी तरह से तैयार नहीं हैं। उनके पास कोई आवश्यक किताबें और स्टेशनरी नहीं है।

गांव के स्कूल में एक अलग दिनचर्या बनी रहती है। छात्रों को खेती या बागवानी जैसे कुछ पाठ्येतर कार्य करने होते हैं। वे क्लास-रूम और मैदान की सफाई करते हैं। वे पहले अपनी प्रार्थना में जाते हैं और फिर अपनी कक्षाओं में। वे अपना पाठ जोर से पढ़ते हैं। कभी-कभी वे कक्षा में अपने पाठों को याद कर लेते हैं। वे अपने शिक्षकों का सम्मान करते हैं। शिक्षक स्कूल में सभी विषयों को पढ़ाते हैं।



गांव के स्कूल में शिक्षकों का छात्र सम्मान करते हैं। ग्रामीण भी उनका सम्मान करते हैं। आम तौर पर वे सादा जीवन जीते हैं। वे साधारण पोशाक पहनते हैं। उन्हें अनुशासन पसंद है। वे सभी छात्रों को अनुशासित बनाने का प्रयास करते हैं।

लेकिन एक गांव का स्कूल कुछ समस्या के रूप में। इसकी कोई अच्छी इमारत नहीं है। इसका भवन ढह रहा है। अब शिक्षकों को बेहतर वेतन दिया जा रहा है। लेकिन वे अपने कर्तव्यों के निर्वहन में ईमानदार नहीं हैं। वे अक्सर स्कूल से अनुपस्थित रहते हैं। वे स्कूल देर से आते हैं और जल्दी निकल जाते हैं।



सरकार ने गांव के स्कूलों की स्थिति में सुधार के लिए कदम उठाए हैं। स्कूलों में मिड-डे मील की व्यवस्था की गई है। बच्चों को ड्रेस, किताबें और अन्य सुविधाएं दी जाती हैं। हालत में सुधार के लिए हर संभव उपाय किए जा रहे हैं। यह एक अच्छा संकेत है।
