Student Role In Free Nation

Forty five years have gone by since India became free. With the advent of freedom the responsibility of every citizen has gone up. Freedom does not fall like manna from heaven. Rather, it is the outcome of pains and suffering. So free people should be pains taking. The only freedom can be lasting and safe. Students are not exception to this. They are the salt of the country and India pins a great hope in them, they have their roles to play in free India.
Discipline among Students- Freedom of one demands freedom to others. It demands discipline and tolerance to itself. This belong so, the students should live a discipline life. Then only they can serve India well. The country will suffer if they are indisciplined. Indiscipline among students will create a great problem and their freedom will go down. Alone discipline can make students worthy of free India.
Students and Politics -Should student take part in active politics? The answer differs from politician. There are some who have an affirmative answer to this, accouding to them, Students should be active politicians. The argue that students of today are rulers of tomorrow. They must be well prepared today for what is to come tomorrow otherwise they will not prove successful rulers of free India and her freedom will be at stake.
While there are others who look for otherwise according to them. Student life is a golden life. It is preparatory stage for student, they should devote themselves to study and make the most of this precious time they should follow the principal of study first, anything else afterwards. Hence they should be rather distant spectators then active politicians.
Student should not limit themselves to their classroom merely theoritically knowledge will be of no avail to them in their life. They should go villages and teach villagers the rules of sanitation and cleanliness, they should go there as true servant but not as their master, and developed servicable spirit in themselves. True India live in villages and the progress of villages is the progress of India. So students, should work in villages during holidays. This is what India demands to herself, from them. Student should learn the importance of love and Ahinsa. They should not do anything that is likely to injure the feelings other Truth, good and beauty should be motto of their life only then they will be able to fulfill the dreams of Gandhiji.
Students should live a disciplined life. They should try their best to uplift the standard of living of villagers by teachings from the rules of life. They should be wide awake of current politics of the country as distant spectators. Unless circumstances are too pressing to avoid. If they are to take part in active politics at the call of the country, they should return to their study again. If it not so, they will mar the beauty of their student career. This loss will be irreparable to them and they will regret for this in time to come.

भारत को आजाद हुए पैंतालीस साल हो गए। स्वतंत्रता के आगमन के साथ हर नागरिक की जिम्मेदारी बढ़ गई है। स्वतंत्रता स्वर्ग से मन्ना की तरह नहीं गिरती है। बल्कि, यह पीड़ा और पीड़ा का परिणाम है। तो मुक्त लोगों को दर्द होना चाहिए। एकमात्र स्वतंत्रता स्थायी और सुरक्षित हो सकती है। छात्र इसके अपवाद नहीं हैं। वे देश के नमक हैं और भारत उनमें एक बड़ी उम्मीद जगाता है, मुक्त भारत में उनकी भूमिका है।
छात्रों के बीच अनुशासन- एक की स्वतंत्रता दूसरों की स्वतंत्रता की मांग करती है। यह खुद के लिए अनुशासन और सहिष्णुता की मांग करता है। यह ऐसा है, छात्रों को एक अनुशासनपूर्ण जीवन जीना चाहिए। तभी वे भारत की अच्छी सेवा कर सकते हैं। अगर वे अनुशासनहीन हैं तो देश को नुकसान होगा। छात्रों के बीच अनुशासनहीनता एक बड़ी समस्या पैदा करेगी और उनकी स्वतंत्रता कम हो जाएगी। अकेला अनुशासन ही छात्रों को स्वतंत्र भारत के योग्य बना सकता है।
छात्र और राजनीति -सुधार छात्र सक्रिय राजनीति में भाग लेते हैं? उत्तर राजनीतिज्ञ से अलग है। कुछ ऐसे हैं जिनके पास इस बात का एक सकारात्मक जवाब है, उनके लिए, छात्रों को सक्रिय राजनीतिज्ञ होना चाहिए। यह तर्क कि आज के छात्र कल के शासक हैं। आज आने वाले कल के लिए उन्हें अच्छी तरह से तैयार होना चाहिए अन्यथा वे स्वतंत्र भारत के सफल शासक साबित नहीं होंगे और उनकी स्वतंत्रता दांव पर होगी।
जबकि कुछ अन्य हैं जो उनके अनुसार अन्यथा की तलाश करते हैं। विद्यार्थी जीवन एक स्वर्णिम जीवन है। यह छात्र के लिए प्रारंभिक चरण है, उन्हें अध्ययन करने के लिए खुद को समर्पित करना चाहिए और इस कीमती समय का सबसे अधिक अध्ययन करने के लिए उन्हें पहले अध्ययन के प्रिंसिपल का पालन करना चाहिए, बाद में कुछ भी। इसलिए वे दूर के दर्शक होने चाहिए फिर सक्रिय राजनेता।
विद्यार्थी को स्वयं को अपनी कक्षा तक सीमित नहीं करना चाहिए केवल सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान उनके जीवन में उनके लिए कोई लाभ नहीं होगा। उन्हें गांवों में जाना चाहिए और ग्रामीणों को स्वच्छता और स्वच्छता के नियमों को सिखाना चाहिए, उन्हें वहां सच्चे सेवक के रूप में जाना चाहिए, लेकिन अपने गुरु के रूप में नहीं, और स्वयं में सेवा भावना विकसित करनी चाहिए। सच्चा भारत गाँवों में रहता है और गाँवों की प्रगति भारत की प्रगति है। इसलिए छात्रों को छुट्टियों के दौरान गांवों में काम करना चाहिए। यह वही है जो भारत खुद से, उनसे मांगता है। विद्यार्थी को प्रेम और अहिंसा के महत्व को सीखना चाहिए। उन्हें ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं करना चाहिए जिससे भावनाओं को चोट पहुँचाने की संभावना हो। सत्य, अच्छाई और सुंदरता उनके जीवन का आदर्श वाक्य होनी चाहिए तभी वे गांधी जी के सपनों को पूरा कर पाएंगे।
छात्रों को अनुशासित जीवन जीना चाहिए। उन्हें जीवन के नियमों से शिक्षा लेकर ग्रामीणों के जीवन स्तर को ऊपर उठाने की पूरी कोशिश करनी चाहिए। उन्हें देश की मौजूदा राजनीति में दूर के दर्शकों के रूप में जागृत होना चाहिए। जब तक कि परिस्थितियां भी बचने के लिए दबाव डालती हैं। अगर उन्हें देश के आह्वान पर सक्रिय राजनीति में भाग लेना है, तो उन्हें फिर से अपने अध्ययन पर लौटना चाहिए। यदि ऐसा नहीं होता है, तो वे अपने छात्र के करियर की बीवी से शादी करेंगे। यह नुकसान उनके लिए अपूरणीय होगा और वे आने वाले समय में इसके लिए पछताएंगे।
